Aaron Sharp is a registered psychologist and Clinical Psychology Registrar based in Brisbane. After 25 years within high-control Pentecostal groups, he left religion at 40 and rebuilt his life through education and a new career in psychology. His interests include religious trauma, coercive control, identity reconstruction and recovery after leaving high-control groups. Drawing on both lived experience and clinical training, Aaron is passionate about raising awareness of the psychological impact of these environments and supporting survivors as they rebuild autonomy, meaning and connection.
