A Survivor Support Day for connection, decompression and grounding will be held in Christchurch on Monday, 26 October (Labour Day) in Christchurch by the Olive Leaf Network and Uncult Ōtautahi. Participation for Decult attendees only who are also survivors/former members of high-control groups. The event is free, but please register for catering and resource provision:
Spiritual abuse occurs when religious or spiritual beliefs are manipulated to control, frighten or harm someone. It can silence questioning, enforce submission and exploit faith for power. Survivors often face deep emotional and psychological scars.
