Angèle Tremsal grew up in the Austrian Friedrichshof commune from the ages of seven to 17. It was started on a similar ideology as Centrepoint in New Zealand and was run by radical action artist Otto Mühl from Vienna who was later jailed for child sexual abuse. When it collapsed, Angèle studied graphic design and later became a mother and a musician. Now based in Berlin, she is a saxophonist, composer and music teacher. Her German book about her life in the Mühl cult was published in 2024.
