Gloriavale Leavers' Support Trust

Liz Gregory is manager of the Gloriavale Leavers’ Support Trust, which she founded in 2019 to provide practical, long-term support for people leaving New Zealand’s best-known high-control religious communitie. She has walked alongside hundreds of former members through housing, education, employment, healthcare, identity, family separation and recovery from coercive control, and works closely with government agencies, researchers and clinicians to improve understanding of their needs. Liz co-hosts the award-winning Cult Chat podcast and brings a practical, compassionate, frontline perspective.
