Renée Spencer

CIFS president & therapist

Renée Spencer is a PACFA-registered counsellor and art therapist in Australia, specialising in recovery from coercive control and high-control groups. She is President of Cult Information & Family Support (CIFS) and co-founder of Survivors of Coercive Cults and High-Control Groups (SOCCHG), and she co-authored the ‘Beyond Belief’ submission to the Victorian Parliamentary Inquiry into high-control groups. Renée runs an online private practice supporting survivors, and with a background in secondary school teaching she is passionate about raising awareness through education.
