Sarah Steel is the Australian creator of Let’s Talk About Sects, a podcast examining cults and coercion. For the show and her book Do As I Say (Pan Macmillan, 2022), she has spoken with dozens of cult survivors and helped them share their stories. The podcast has won an Australian Podcast Award and an Ethical Media Award and was a Webby Award honouree. Sarah has produced for ABC Radio National and convened sold-out panels for Vivid Sydney and Woodford Folk Festival.

After the Decult conference, the Olive Leaf Network offers trainings and workshops with US cult expert Rachel Bernstein in Auckland and Wellington.
