Dassi Erlich is an author, survivor advocate and campaigner for institutional accountability. Raised in Melbourne’s ultra-Orthodox Adass community, she has spent years speaking out about abuse and the systems that shield perpetrators, and led the 15-year campaign to return her former school principal to Australia to face justice. Her memoir, In Bad Faith, tells the story of the abuse, what it took to speak out, and how she rebuilt her life. Dassi also appears in the documentary Surviving Malka Leifer and continues to advocate for lasting systemic change.
